Yes b.tech is eligible for the post of scientific assistant in IMD. At the time of SSC IMD 2017 exam they reject many of the b.tech candidates at time of document verification (DV) but some of the candidates file a court case at Delhi high court. After that candidate wins the case and Delhi high court allows a b.tech candidate for the post of scientific assistant in IMD. Currently many of the b.tech candidates are working as scientific assistants in imd at different locations of the country. Copies of judgment are below.
The SSC IMD Scientific Assistant was organized by SSC on 14, 15, and 16 December 2022 at different locations in the country.
